Natalie dormer
Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress from England. Her awards include
an Empire Award, and receiving nominations for the Critics' Choice Award, two
Gemini Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her birthplace was in
Reading, Berkshire, Dormer had her breakthrough playing the character of Anne
Boleyn in The Tudors, a Showtime series The Tudors (2007-08), that earned her
acclaim across the board. In Sweet Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut.
She was also the Duchess of York in Madonna's W.E. (2011) and Private Lorraine
in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). After Miss Julie (2012) in the
Young Vic, was highly appreciated. Dormer was highly praised for her
performance in the show After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic. She has also
appeared as Irene Adler/Moriarty on the CBS series Elementary (2013-15), Sara
Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016) and also voiced Onica in the TV series
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). She was awarded acclaim for her
role as the lead in the mini-series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020).
Dormer was born on 11 February 1982 in Reading, Berkshire (England), as the
daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire Richards. She is also the sibling of
Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
