Roselyn Sanchez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 02/04/1973. She is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter model, actress on television producer, screenwriter, and soap opera actress. Roselyn Sanchez RodrAguez was born and raised in San Juan (Puerto Rico). Roselyn grew up in Puerto Rico, with her mother, father and three brothers. Roselyn is enthusiastic about the entertainment industry however, she chooses to pursue a degree in marketing at the University of Puerto Rico. After three years, she decides to leave everything behind and follow her dreams of singing, dancing and acting. At the age of 21 she departed New York City. She was the main character in Rush Hour 2 in 2001. Gary Stretch is her ex-husband. Eric Winter has just married her a second time. Sanchez has also participated in beauty contests and modelled. In 1993, she was named Miss Puerto Rico Petite and later that year, she was named Miss America Petite. She was eager to be chosen and began her career on Broadway in New York with her own show, Out Here on My Own. In 1996, she was the first Latina character in the soap opera that has been running for years As the World turns. After appearing on the show for a year and a half, she was offered the permanent part as Lili Arguelo in Fame L.A. While the show lasted only one episode, Sanchez was soon offered an additional role in Held Up (1999).
